Mr. Sterling is an entrepreneur, industrialist and the original architect of the
United Oil and Gas Resource Claim and business plans. Mr. Sterling, was born in
New Zealand in 1952. He is a US resident and Australian citizen.
Mr. Sterling brings to United extensive financial and operational management
experience with internet technology, mining, oil and gas, as well as satellite
and telecommunications companies. He has an entrepreneurial public company and
technology-based senior management background. Over the past thirty years, Mr.
Sterling has held CEO and principal stockholder positions with numerous public
and more recently, private US companies.
Mr. Sterling started his career as a telecommunications engineering trainee with
New Zealand Telecom. At age 20 Mr. Sterling left to become the owner of Sterling
Electronics an Australian electronics company which for four years, manufactured
and distributed metal detectors for airport security and mining operations. Mr.
Sterling’s company designed manufactured assembled and marketed its own
electronics products. Mr. Sterling then moved into precious minerals
prospecting and mining exploration company management.
Over the past twenty five years, Mr. Sterling has held CEO and principal
stockholder positions with numerous public and private companies. In the 1980's
Mr. Sterling became principal shareholder and-or CEO of five Australian based
publicly listed industrial and minerals exploration/development companies with
over 20,000 shareholders. Along with his private companies, Mr. Sterling's group
companies employed over 600 people on four continents.
The Sterling group companies built gold and diamond mines in remote South
American jungle settings, discovered oil under the deserts of Western Australia
and produced industrial minerals in Victoria. Using the latest satellite imaging
technology and the best geologists available, the group explored for and
discovered minerals around the world.
In the 1980's Mr. Sterling's company Kaomin NL discovered a $200 million
dollar kaolin orebody near Ballarat in Victoria Australia and subsequently built
a multi-million dollar state-of-the-art, computer controlled kaolin processing
plant. Mr. Sterling's public companies included Zanex Ltd., Kaomin NL.,
Cue Group NL, Great Eastern Mines Ltd, and Condor Minerals and
Energy Ltd., which discovered oil onshore in the Australian Perth basin.
Mr. Sterling went into semi retirement in the US in 1988
at the age of 36.
Mr. Sterling re-entered commerce in the mid 1990's and recently identified the
Arctic abyssal hydrocarbons prospectivity and arranged for the Hydrocarbons
Rights Acquisition program.
Mr. Sterling is also a Director of Oceanic Strategic Metals Corp., ( http://www.oceanicmetals.com/ ) a private US company with claims and plans to mine strategic metals nodules containing Titanium., Cobalt, Nickel and Manganese from the Pacific Ocean seafloor.
Mr. Sterling is also a Director of World Environmental
Restoration Corporation, a private US company with plans to rehabilitate the
fish and plankton-depleted ocean regions of the world's Ocean and reverse CO2
levels worldwide to pre-1980s levels.
Mr. Sterling was also the original architect of the S2COM global Satellite
Internet business plan, which proposes connecting all of the unconnected
